Who never was spellbound by those fabulous coloured hot-air balloons that make your dream come true? Who never wanted to get on a basket and be carried away by the wind as in a fable?

A flight on a hot-air balloon is an unforgettable experience, which San Girolamo Farm House is pleased to offer you.
You will rise higher and higher! You will fly over the country landscapes or over the marvellous views of the town of Mantua and... no one will know your destination.
Only the wind will know where it's carrying you silently and quietly.
After an hour you will land in a field where the Sorvolare staff (of the aerostatic association located in Crevalcore-Bologna) will take you and the balloon on board of a big motor vehicle (which will follow you during your flight) and drive you back to the Farm House, where you could rest in a comfortable room with bathroom. After taking a rest you can have a breakfast (if your flight took place in the morning) or have an evening snack (if you travelled before sunset).

A flight on a hot-air balloon can be a wonderful present for a birthday or an anniversary, or simply a pleasant entertainment during your stay in San Girolamo Farm House.
The basket can hold 4 people plus the pilot. On request, it is possible to arrange a flight with more than one balloon.

Perhaps each of us hides a secret desire to get on a balloon and fly away...


Fares
- Euros 480 for two people
- Euros 180 for a person (at least three passengers required)
The flight is bound to an overnight stay at the Farm House. You will find the fares in the section "Prices" of this web site.
Terms of Payment
The reservation will be accepted only at a 10 day notice and at 30% of the total cost (room and flight) paid upfront.
Any notice of cancellation should be given within five days from the date of booking. Otherwise, the 30% deposit will be kept in full.
Flight information
- The flight lasts one hour; the passenger takes part in the process of pumping up the balloon (a moment of particular fascination). The flight has not specific destination.
As soon as the balloon takes of, it is only directed by the wind.
- Suggested wear: outdoors clothes. Wear brogues. The balloon leaves and lands in the countryside.
- In the summer season it is possible to fly twice: after dawn and before sunset.
During other seasons the flight is available any time of the day.
