Corporate Social Responsibility is the company voluntary integration of social and environmental issues in its economical activities and relations with stakeholders. It shares a process of cultural change which is based on the creation of long-term "value". A socially responsible company shares a strong system of values with those who have an interest in its affairs (stakeholders), shows consistency in its identity, business and actions, and pays special attention to the economic, social and environmental impacts on its stakeholders.
In this view, Agriturismo San Girolamo has decided to found a representative group of stakeholders in order to draw up an Ethics Charter of farm tourism - i.e. an instrument capable of conveying the values underlying corporate decisions and behaviour - to be complied with in its relationships with its various stakeholders.
The Ethics Charter is intended as a tool for spreading corporate values and also represents an opportunity to sensitize the various social actors on the importance of adopting socially responsible behaviours. This project has the aim to constitute a voluntary partnership, able to give birth to joint cooperation, oriented to the promotion of a healthier environment.

Stakeholders:   each person, group, organization and/or institution, whose words or actions may influence corporate results, or each subject influenced by corporate activities. Stakeholders are employees, collaborators, customers, suppliers, public authorities, local communities, nonprofit organizations etc.
